Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni – Price
The robot vacuum belongs to the high-end segment and is competing against market leaders like Roborock S and Qlines and others from iRobot and more. It is priced at $839, making it a really attractive product as it is less expensive than its competitors. Moreover, on paper, the robot vacuum also has a variety of smart features, so let’s unbox the Deebot T20 Omni.
Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni – Unboxing
This is by far the biggest and heaviest robot vacuum box I have ever seen. It weighs around 23.2kg or 51lbs. But overall, the box looks fantastic and has an excellent design with all the brandings, features, and more. One of the reasons for the heavy box is that both units are packed in the same box.
Opening it will reveal the quick start guide and two boxes holding the robot vacuum and home station. Everything is quite nicely packed. Let’s take out the small box first. It has the robot vacuum and all the essential accessories, including 2x mopping pads, 2x brush, a cleaning tool, a power cord, and the robot vacuum itself.
The base station is covered nicely to prevent any scratches or cuffs during the delivery. All the accessories come pre-mounted inside. Lifting the top cover will reveal the clean and dirty water tanks, and you can find the dirtbag behind the front panel.
Appearance and Build Quality
One of the stand-out features of Ecovace Deebot T20 Omni is its innovative design, which makes it easy to maintain. The top cover is removable, so you can lift it to access the dirt box and controls. It also has a diagnostic port, allowing engineers to quickly identify the problem. Having a cover instead of making a lot of cuts is a bright idea and makes it more accessible.
The bottom also looks clean; you can attach two side brushes and two mop pads. The big brush has an excellent design as well. Moreover, there are sensors everywhere. You can see them all around the robot vacuum, which allows it to deliver exceptional cleaning and 3D mapping abilities.
The home station also has a nice, sleek design with easy access to dirtbags and water tanks. It is a little heavy and can hold two 4-liter water tanks and a 3-liter dirt bag. But all the things are relatively easy to service thanks to efficient design.
Overall, the build quality looks reliable, and all the parts feel strong. The fabric part of the mop pad is also machine washable, so you can do that from time to time.

Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni – Features
The robot vacuum and the base station are bigger than any average product, which makes them incredible for cleaning. With light cleaning, it can go unmaintained for almost a few weeks.
One of the unique features of Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni is its ability to warm clean the mop pads. It washes the mop at a temperature level of 131°F or 55°C. It may not seem much, but it remarkably cleans the oily stains. Not to mention, the suction power of this vacuum is incredible.
The vacuum is also great with a smart home assistant. It also comes with a Yiko assistant who can listen and talk to you. It understands pretty much all the commands and works promptly. Moreover, if you have Alexa or Google, the T20 Omni also works flawlessly with them.
The Deebot smartphone app is an incredible companion. It can save up to 3 maps, which is beneficial for multi-floor cleaning. The maps are editable; you can set no-go ones, create workflows, adapt cleaning cycles, set schedules, and many other valuable things.
Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni – Performance
Vacuum Cleaning
Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni is among the strongest robot vacuums with a solid suction power of 6000Pa. It quickly sucks up all the dirt leaving a clean floor.
Let’s do our customary rice test. Here, we spill 60 grams of rice grains and check how much the robot can pick. The results were on par with other vacuums. It brings back 57 grams of grains. One of the reasons for lesser rice is the silicon brushes. Our YouTube video shows that it throws some dirt sideways that eventually becomes invisible to the robot vacuum. So, two-time cleaning is a good idea.
Other than that, the sensors are incredible and precisely map the room, thanks to the combination of LIDAR and dToF sensors. The obstacle avoidance is on par; it can sense the dog poops, cable, and socks and automatically increases the suction power when it comes over a carpet.
Mopping
Mopping is incredible; it’s effective and efficient and puts a lot of force into cleaning the floor. The rotating pads can create up to 6 newtons of force, which is good enough to remove even the hardest stains off the floor. Moreover, as mentioned above, the warm cleaning also makes it proficient for the job.
You can time the mopping every 6,10, or 20 minutes of cleaning. After cleaning, it returns back to the base station, gets dried, and starts cleaning again. The robot vacuum also intelligently lifts up the pads as it comes close to the carpet, which is a handy feature.
Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni – Battery
The Deebot t20 Omni has a solid 5200mAh battery that can last up to 260 minutes on silent mode, but on average, with hard cleaning, the robot vacuum can clean the house for almost 3 hours.
Drawbacks
- Massive charging station
- No detergent tank
- Limited map backup
Conclusion
Ecovacs Deeobot t20 Omni is an impressive robot vacuum. It delivers exceptional dry and wet cleaning, has an app with incredible features, efficient sensors with all the goodies, and a solid battery. Given the price point, it is among the best robot vacuums on the market, and I recommend the product.
