Urbanista Miami – Price
Urbanista Miami is a budget-oriented device costing only 150$. Miami is one of the most affordable ANC headphones competing against premium devices of Bose and Sony.
Urbanista Miami – Unboxing
The unboxing experience is great; I have always been a fan of Nordic design and presentation. It has a simple box with a great choice of colours. Opening the box will reveal the hard carrying case, carrying the accessories and the black edition of Urbanista Miami.
In the box, we have the carrying case, headphones, Type-C charging cable, AUX cable, an airplane adapter and a user guide.
Appearance and Build Quality
Headphones look quite pleasing; they have a simple design with soft cushions on both ears. The headband is slightly stiff, but it perfectly fits on the head, and you will feel nothing after 10 to 15 minutes. It has mechanical buttons on both earcups.
Miami is more robust than I thought. The lightweight headphones have sturdy aluminium construction with a matte finish, while the earcups and headband are of vegan leather. At first, the adjusting mechanism felt unreliable, but it turned out to be the opposite. So, It doesn’t make clicking sounds and firmly holds its position. Miami is not foldable; we can rotate the speakers to conveniently fit it in the backpack.

Urbanista Miami – Features
Urbanista Miami is a comfortable and versatile headphone with ANC. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, and you don’t have to put in any extra effort in transition. Miami is featuring the latest and fastest Bluetooth 5.0 that immediately pair with iOS and Android devices.
It has mechanical control buttons and a function button it toggles between three modes No ANC, ANC and Ambient Sound. Ambient sound turns on the microphone allowing you to hear the surrounding voices whilst listening to the music. It is a valuable feature if you listen to music while walking on the streets.
Moreover, it has on-ear detection; it automatically turns off the music when removed from the ears. The headphone has soft cushions for a comfortable fit with an exceptionally long battery life. It has a handy travelling case that packs all the accessories and headphones.
Urbanista Miami – Performance
Sound Quality
Urbanista Miami is among the best sounding headphone. It has a super-strong bass with excellent high and medium frequencies making it the perfect headphone for club music. The bass and frequencies remain intact, even at full volume. Miami struggles a bit at low frequencies. Moreover, it does not have any equalizer or mobile app for fine-tuning.
The sound experience is five stars if you enjoy high bass and 4-stars if low frequencies are vital.
Microphone
The microphone is exceptional. A good microphone is crucial for good ANC performance. That’s why the audio recording is remarkable outdoors. But you may sense some echo indoors.
Active Noise Cancellation
ANC is exceptional. The earcups are not good at isolating the surrounding noises; you can hear almost everything happening around you. But with ANC, the noises are significantly damped. The bigger and better microphone does a great job, and performance is very close to the market leaders.
The high frequencies are not suppressed effectively.
Battery
Urbanista Miami has an operating time of 50 hours and slightly less with ANC. It gets that prime working time from its 750mAh battery. Miami has a Type-C port for charging.
Controls & Connectivity
The headphones are very easy to use. It has a control button surrounded by volume buttons. The control will start and stop the music while double-clicking will launch the virtual assistant. You can skip music tracks by long-pressing the volume buttons.
The button on the other side is the function button. It is used to toggle between ANC, ambient sound and no ANC mode. Moreover, it also has an AUX port for wired connection
Miami is compatible with both Android and iOS and pairing it is straightforward. Turning the headphone will put it in pairing mode disconnecting it from mobile will again put it in pairing mode, allowing you to pair it with other devices. Moreover, the transition between Android and iOS is flawless.
Urbanista Miami – Drawbacks
There can be a couple of drawbacks in the device.
- No smartphone app.
- Headband is slightly stiff.
Final Words
So, I will highly recommend Urbanista Miami. It has a sleek and beautiful design with exceptional sound quality. High, mid-range frequencies and bass are well executed. But the ANC is not excellent; it does a good job but is not perfect. So, if you are planning to buy this device, then get it from the link below.
