Amazfit GTS 4 Mini – Price
The watch is launched at 99$, but we all know Amazfit has a thing for keeping the products on sale on various platforms. You might get the GTS 4 Mini for 89$ from the link below.
The watch undoubtedly provides excellent value for the money, and it can be a real deal if its performance meets expectations.
Amazfit GTS 4 Mini – Unboxing
Amazfit devices never disappoint in terms of unboxing. It is according to the high standards of Amazfit. GTS 4 Mini comes in a beautiful black box with prominent highlights mentioned all around.
The watch is well-packed, and we get the charging plate and a thick user guidebook in the box.
Appearance and Build Quality
Amazfit GTS 4 Mini looks stunning. It has a nice Apple Watch SE like design, except it has a smaller form factor and a couple of other differences. If we look closely, it has a button on the right, it’s not a crown, I know a bit disappointing, but we cannot ask for more at the 100$ price. The strap is lovely and has a secure metal buckle at the end. The sensors cluster is on the bottom, as it is in every single smartwatch and fitness tracker.
The build quality is lovely; it has a metal body, glass screen, and silicon straps which feel premium in hand and looks quite solid and durable.

Amazfit GTS 4 Mini – Features
Amazfit GTS 4 Mini is a budget powerhouse. It is packed with many useful smart features that set it apart from many similarly specced smartwatches and fitness trackers of similar pricing.
An essential feature is the GPS. It is well-implemented and tracks our workout sessions. The paths are a little off by 2 to 3 meters. But it has GNSS, which means it can easily communicate with all the popular positioning systems.
Another great aspect is the Zepp OS. It is not a proper WearOS, but Amazfit has done an excellent job of perfectly implementing it in GTS 4 Mini. It is intuitive, easy to use, and functional. Moreover, there are no noticeable stuttering or flaws in the OS. Now you can also add some third-party apps. The apps are limited for now, but it is an excellent addition to the smartwatch’s functionality. Navigation is simple and very similar to the other Amazfit devices.
The OS is relatively new and does not have many intricate options to fine-tune the performance. But I think it’s still pretty good for a budget smartwatch.
The smartwatch can also receive notifications. There is no option to type, but you can respond with pre-defined messages.
Smart assistants are a vital part of smartwatches, and Amazfit has implemented the Alexa assistant in the GTS 4 Mini. I don’t know how it performs in real-world scenarios, as it is not available here in Bulgaria. But I have only heard positives about its performance.
Fitness tracking
Fitness tracking has been excellent and fairly precise, like it has been in the previous generations. It can track a lot more data and present it in an understandable and interactive way.
Amazfit GTS 4 Mini can do 24-hour HR and SpO2 tracking thanks to its top-of-the-line PPG Bio Tracker. The results are outstanding, with detailed and thorough charts on both the smartwatch and Zepp Smartphone app.
Sleep cycles are also accurately tracked. It perfectly tracks the state of sleep, including light, sleep, REM, deep sleep, etc. In addition, it can also track stress and has 120 sports modes which is made supremely well with GPS integration.
In addition to exceptional tracking and measuring, Amazfit also provides analysis, tips, and recommendations according to the parameters tracked, which can significantly help you improve your health and life.
Zepp App
The Zepp app has always been great. It has a nice friendly interface with a rather simplified UI and quick access to important sections. The charts are very detailed and informative. Moreover, as mentioned above, the app provides valuable tips and recommendations according to our health data and workouts.
The app also has integration to download third-party apps along with a vast library of free and paid watch faces.
Battery Endurance
Amazfit GTS 4 Mini has a 270mAh battery. The efficient device can run for 7 to 10 days with normal usage and no always on display. Which get lowers to 4 to 7 days with a couple of workouts per week and always on display which is still quite remarkable. In battery-saving mode, you can even touch 20 days which is simply exceptional.
Drawbacks
- The button is not Rotating Crown
- Lack of in-built speaker
- Alexa is not supported in many regions
- No ANT+ support
- No internal storage and NFC Chip
- The Wi-Fi module is not present
Verdict
It is an excellent smartwatch for the price, but if you want a better OS, music control, phone calls, LTE, and many more smart and unique features, then Apple Watch is the way to go. But if you are happy with better health tracking, a day of runtime, and the same great design at a much more affordable price, then Amazfit GTS 4 Mini is an excellent device.
If you need more features like Wi-Fi, built-in storage, a crown button, and a temperature sensor, then GTS 4 has a non-mini option as well.
